Concord Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The Concord PTA would like to welcome you to the 2011-2012 school year at Concord International Elementary. The PTA serves the needs of the parents and students at Concord International Elementary in the following ways:

• By raising funds for school programs, facilities and after school programs. Last year, we secured a grant to remodel the outdoor play area and raised funds to support drama performances and the instrumental music program, among other things.
• By providing classroom and school support.  This year, we helped the school prepare welcome packets for incoming students and organized the Teacher Appreciation Week.
• By organizing after school enrichment programs. Last year, we offered art, music and dance classes to students and a class on Positive Discipline for parents.
• By promoting community involvement and support. We provide volunteer support for academic events, connect Concord families with local resources and host social events like Game Night or Movie Night.
• By providing a voice for families.  We are working in cooperation with Concord Elementary administration, staff and families to create a positive learning environment for all Concord students.
